I bought a pair of these boots for my husband hoping he would wear them and they would be comfortable for him. Well now he will only wear these boots. They must be groundbreaker round toe! We buy a pair every year now, even though they have plenty of life left in them, we donate them to those who maybe can't afford them right now but still need a great pair of work boots! Please do not discontinue these boots ever!!!

I ordered this boot in 10.5 wide, which is the same size as all other brand boots I have bought in the past. After wearing these for two days, the heel is slipping and feet are sliding all over the place in the boot. Appears to run a half size too big. 2 day old boots going in the trash bin. Won’t be ordering this brand again.

Owned many pairs of Ariat boots to work on our small farm but I've liked this one the best. I prefer the lower heel as it is less prone to twisting an ankle an rocky ground than the higher heels.

Great work boots intended for working outside when I bought them originally but as the nicer looking pair came to me too narrow, I am wearing these to the office until the others come back from the boot shop after being stretched. Both pairs are the same size. These are my 2nd and 3rd pair of Ariats. My first pair I bought from the store in Killeen, TX and wore them forever until some idiot spilled some kind of chemical on them that wouldn't come off and ruined them. I will wear these until they fall apart at the seams and can't be stitched up anymore or I pass them on to my children after I pass in about 25 years or so.

Owned these boots for 2 years. The description says it all. These are a great everyday, do it all boot. Comfortable, and waterproof. I do irrigation and never have a problem. I do use mink oil though. Ariat is the best

great looking boots, well made, sized small. probably a whole size small. my boys both wear 13EE in every boot they have, even Ariat. These would not fit either one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boots always blow out within 4 to 6 months. I've tried workhogs and other Ariats, but the leather always does this. I wear wide, but doesn't help. I continue to buy them because I find them comfortable and they are the cheapest boot making them "disposable". I just know I've got to spend $600+ a year in boots.

Had them in the past and loved them, so I got another pair for work and 3 weeks into owning them the whole inside of the boot ripped out while attempting to take them off my foot. Goes to show me the quality has decreased since I bought them the first time in 2016. My other pair of Ariats I bought to replace these leaked and soaked my foot after about 2 hours in the rain at work. Absolutely ridiculous to even call these work boots anymore.

My third pair of the same model. They usually last about 1.5 -2 years in my trade of refrigeration. That’s a pretty good run . They are comfortable and easy to live with . Only thing is, I bought size 12 ( as always) but these seem looser than normal …maybe I’m shrinking.

I do own Arita boots that I wear and still look and feel like new which I have had for about 3- 4 years now, but for these boots I can’t really speak much about because I bought these as a Christmas gift for my brother which he loves them. I did open the box and take a look at them and I was surprised by the quantity of them. The leather, stitching, and the soles were perfect. I will be getting me some soon down the road from now and when I do I’ll update my review. Other than that, from me wearing Ariat brand, I would still have to recommend. (My older brother did buy some also after I sent him photos of them which he is a first time buyer, and he said that they are comfortable and he loves them.

I run a cutting tourch and welder for a living an work on a farm, so I am on my feet for about 18 hours a day with other boots my feet would start hurting around four hours in, how ever withe the GROUNDBREAKER work boots the comfort last all day and best of all dry. With the traction, durability and comfort I would recomend them for any one looking for a great work boot.

I used this boot for 4 years, (I just looked up my buying time review). This was my first non laced boot, and used as primary workboot around my house, it got some rough handling for sure. I was doing ground work, forrest cleaning, concrete laying, hunting, evrything you can do in a countryside house. The upper part stood all the beating, the sole too, but the glue between the two gave up finally. But it was comfortable till the last minute and I was using it for 4 years, so it absolutely worth the price.

This is my second pair of these boots. The first pair was the best and most comfortable ever. The sole was the best wearing and lasting that I have ever had. The boot leather finally wore out before the sole after several years of extreme use. I wear an 11D size. My new 11D's were still the same length as the old ones but the new boots slip in the heel.This is very annoying and uncomfortable. I was really looking forward to my new boots and several more years of use. It's pretty dissapointing. Really loved those boots.

These have much better traction than other western style boots that I’ve seen. Go to boot for more or less anything. Style is great (not too pointy, not too square). Good boots, tough leather but stitching is weak. After about 6-8 months the stitching on the front of the boot just came loose. Sole just flapping about. Wish there was a warranty for stuff like this.

This is the first pair of boots this style I’ve owned. I tried a couple other brands and they were very uncomfortable and way too tight on my feet. I wear a 10 wide and these fit great. Very comfortable right out of the box. I’m going to order a couple more pairs just to keep on hand.

They’re very comfortable, highly durable and the patina is forming quite nicely. They’ve aged with great character, so far.

I ordered these to replace an old pair when the sole came off. Same size completely different fit. I had to have a pair so I wore them despite the horribly loose fit. I promptly ordered a pair of Thorogood’s to replace the Ariats. Hopefully I’ll be able to wear the Ariats this winter with thicker socks. Second time I’ve had fit issues with Ariat. Won’t make this mistake again.

I bought a pair of these to wear when helping my daughter with her new small acerage, 2 horse property. I wanted boots that were easy to slip on and slip off, comfortable, fit well, provide support, stylish, durable, of best quality, and affordable. These boots meet all of the above criteria. Just absolutely fabulous boots for light duty farming chores, wearing them to the motel cafe after a hard day of hunting, or just around town. You absolutely cannot find a better combination of features.

My first time buying a pair of work boots and so far after three weeks I can honestly say that they are really comfortable working 8 hour shifts 6 day a week on the fields un and down the rows pruning pistachio trees. I would give a second review on durability in about 9 months or so. I would recommend this boots to friends and family.

Last few seem to be running small all my other boots are 8 1/2 and I started out with 8 1/2 that fit great next pair I had to go to 9 reordered 9 on last pair and couldn’t even get me foot to make it half way through not sure if it was mislabeled or sizes have changed

The boots are great, a little tight at the shaft where the foot slides in, but that is just leather that will stretch. Very comfortable, highly recommend.

Received these boots in the mail and they didn't fit properly. I was able to get one boot on, but the other boot would not go on my foot. I have another pair of Ariat boots and purchased the same size. Very disappointed about the fit. Returned them and looking to other options.

I have always loved Ariat boots. They are very comfortable I recently received these work boots, and wear them at least four out of seven days of the week. I am unsatisfied with these boots the material of the boots seems cheaply made. The top is already started peeling.

Been using Ariat workhog for about 15 years. They stopped selling my favorite because of its light flexible leather which was the aged bark color. The darker earth color leather workhog is not as flexible. Glad I decided to try out this groundbreaker boots because they are lower heel and flexible thick leather. Time will tell if the bottom flex area will separate like the workhog but it looks more strongly bond together. The cushion and fit is really close to my old favorite the aged tree bark and better than the dark earth. I wish they made a boot for hot weather with less inside lining and more toe area. Those are the only two reasons I gave it four instead of five stars. I ordered EE because I think it fits a little snug.

Bought as a gift for my boyfriend. This is his second pair over the last 5 years. He loves them. Very comfortable and long lasting.

Been a long time Justin boot fan. I have never had any complaints about them but wanted to give Ariat a try. They are comfortable right out of the box. Leather is not as thick as Justin but these seem like a good pair of boots. I’ll let you know in 3 years if they are as durable though.

I purchased the boots about 4 months ago. I have worn them enough that the creases are permanent on the front of the boot. The still rub blisters on my heels. I have tried thin socks, thicker socks, cotton socks, wool socks, and liner socks. I would love to love these boots, but I just can't at this point in time.

I did try for a few weeks on and off trying To break them in but no luck so I’m in the market for another pair again and get rid of these

This is my first pair of Ariats. These boots seem sturdy, with a solid heel and outsole. Since they're new, I can't speak to long-term durability. So far, they've done the job working with horses. That said, you sure as heck won't confuse them for Luccheses. The fit is bad. I wear 9D. They are loose in the both the heel and forefoot. I have to wear two pairs of boot socks to get them to fit correctly, otherwise the side seam and counter will fold over and rub into my ankle. I ordered these online, so I didn't get to try different sizes for this boot. The length is appropriate, so I don't think going to a smaller size will help. Perhaps a narrower boot would be better. But the point is, these don't fit true to size. I don't want to order their version of a narrower boot. I tested other Ariat boots at Cabela's, and they didn't fit correctly either.

Awesome boots! I bought one pair in April and liked them so much I bought a second pair in May. They are some of the most comfortable boots I have worn.

Best boot hands down. They are warm, comfortable, and light even with steel toe. Can work 14 hour shift in water and sewer and it feels like I had tennis shoes on all day. They also slide on very easily. Quality is insane.

A gift for my husband and he loves them. They advertise soft leather but they seem to be very stiff so he keeps stretching them out. Likes them anyhow.
