Comfortable boots to break in, but once broke in the leather relaxes and after six months of wearing them, the leather allows my foot to relax but the composite to is to narrow, can't wear for more than 20 minutes

Great boot so far only had them for couple weeks. Little tough getting in and off but with shoe horn no problem. Been wearing Ariat power line boots figured I’d give these a try. All the Ariat boots I have are great comfortable boots.

AWESOME BOOT! Highly recommend! This was our 3rd Ariat workbook purchase. 2nd of this exact style. This boot lasted us a couple years and we plan to replace this pair with another just like it in a couple years. Husband does environmental testing for gas stations so these boots get USED!

After putting these boots on for a week, I can’t get the right boot on I am currently trying to find a shoehorn for boots so I can actually wear these boots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an NDT inspector, I frequently operate in confined spaces with rough surfaces, necessitating the essential front protection provided by these boots. While some may perceive these boots as heavy, I find their overall build quality to meet my expectations, outweighing any concerns about weight. Over the years, I have owned four pairs of these boots, with each pair lasting an average of two years or more. However, after prolonged use, I have consistently encountered the same issue with the front rubber side stitching coming apart. Additionally, the top rubber begins to disintegrate, and the soles develop cracks on the sides. These issues are to be expected due to normal wear and tear, as well as the weight of the wearer. Overall very satisfied with my boots!

Like the boots so far, they are holding up in the water. Only issue i have is that they dont fit very tight. This is my 3rd pair of Ariat boots, 2 other styles before these, and these were loose fitting right out of the box. The sizing must be different from the other 2 styles ive worn.

These boots are super rugged. I do HVAC and own several other Ariat boots like the work hogs, rebars, and intrepids. These are no doubt the most durable out of all. They do have a little more weight to them. It's like driving a four wheel drive truck. They take anything you throw at them. I've been trying to dog them out and abuse them. They rinse right off and still look good. If you don't mind the extra weight, these are awesome boots!

They're very comfortable after break in. They have been exposed to several various chemicals, salt water, and gave stood up very well minus the insoles that blew out about 7 months in. About the same time I noticed cracks developing In the hard midsole in areas where my foot flexes the most. That have progressively gotten worse, so now they're no longer waterproof. Puddles soak socks now. Other than wet feet, they're still going strong. I'm confident that if I can find a quality repair shop I could get another year out of them.

The extra protection at the heel makes them so much easier to take off at the end of the day and toe caps on top of the composite toe make it to where I'm not worried about anything hurting my toes.

Wouldn’t know how good the boots are because they are lost in the mail for over two weeks now.

I’m an electrician and in my feet, and up and down ladders all day. They fit and feel great all day from day one. Keep up the great work Ariat.

I bought these boots because of Ariats reputation and I am very disappointed. My Danner boots held up for over 2 years and these (Ariat Catalyst) leaked in 4 months. And I spent way more on these Ariats than I did the Danners. I’m going back to Danners.

Sorry three stars 😔 buyer remorse The stitching at the shin area causes chaffing, wish I could have tried them on before buying, I wouldn't have bought them. 300+$ pair of boots should not cause chaffing. For that 3 stars. I love the Ariat boots I've had in the past which is why I went with them.

My husband has used these before, and they have lasted a good while. He works out in the oil rigs and loves these boots for all the weather and terrain he encounters.

Sometimes pay more don't mean that you get a great product,I have a pair for the last 5 months,and make in noises,squeaky bad,really heavy to use ,specially if you use for 14-16 hours,I made a mistake a always used this brand but this one was a mistake,if I had th opportunity,I bought the regular steel toe ,square boots.

I'm about to retire my first pair of these after 2 years of oil, mud, water, hard impacts, and a whole lot of walking. They're still waterproof, all the seams are still holding up, even the plastic pull tabs on the back are still good. The only reason I'm retiring these is because the tread finally wore down enough to where they aren't within regulation at work. getting another pair. I have never in my life had another pair of boots last 2 years. Most of them are in worse shape than these after 6 months. Never had to break them in and even after a 16 hour day my feet are about the only part of me that doesn't hurt. Definitely worth the money.

Boots are hard to break in but comfortable once you wear them for a while. Really tough and lasts. Will definitely last a long time. Would definitely recommend.

I like the boots, except for the seam inside at the top of the boot. It bumps my shin with every step and has caused....not pain but discomfort in my shins. Been wearing them about a week and it is getting better. They are starting to break in, I walk about 10,000 steps a day on gravel, dirt, grating, and concrete.

I paid over 300 for these boots. They started falling apart the first week I wore them during my hitch. The boot started to separate from the some. I wasn't doing anything crazy, just working the floor on the rig.

These are not water proof this is my second pair I love the boots just not the part where water get in thru the stitching

I bought these a month ago for my husband! They are absolutely awful! They are not waterproof and they have caused awful Blisters even a month after he has had them! Awful I saved up to buy him these shoes for work! And I will never get them again!

They fit a lil snug at first but once you get over the breaking in period they are pretty comfy for the most part, the down side I have with these and the biggest downside is that they hold stink. I’ve had three other ariat boots before and never had a problem with them, I’ve used a lot of products to get the smell out but sheesh these hold stink bad. Every leaving outside to dry and air out they are still bad. Other than that they are really good and I love the look of them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 3rd pair of this boot my husband buys. Great, tight fitting boot. After an ankle injury, he was having to wear a brace. These boots are snug enough to keep his ankle stable without the brace, but are still easy to get in and out of. They are very comfortable but the sole wears out within a few months. We add a cushioned sole and they are good again. He's tough on boots and wears them 90% of the time and they last about a year before they start have issues with stitching. Great boot for someone on their feet all day.

I have had for a year, good boot, just way overpriced...
