[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I held off ordering these boots because they weren't offered in EE wide in my usual size of 11.5. I purchased and returned some Ariat work boots because they were too big, and as I'm finding, their boots tend to run 1/2 size bigger than standard. I ordered the Lookout boots 1/2 size smaller than usual and the fit is spot on . They tend to run narrow too so I went with the EE width. They look fantastic and are very comfortable. I'm only on my second day of use, but so far so good.

These are seriously the best shoes out there. Pretty much an all around use, can be used for rugged work type situations but also look great to wear with normal clothes to go out or casual uses.

These boots are the most comfortable boots I've ever had. They are well made and sturdy, come true to size and look really cool.

This is a very comfortable shoe/boot, really like the colouring and how it goes well with just about anythig.

Squeaky! The bottom of the shoes are extremely squeaky on smooth concrete. I wear them at the office and it's all I hear when walking and everyone lets me know it too.

I bought a pair of these about two months ago. I ordered a 10.5 wide and they fit almost perfect. I say almost because they are a little stiff but they loosened up quickly and are very comfortable. However, the right boot squeaks and that's why I took off a star. I mean it squeaks alot. Loudly. People look at me when I approach to see what the noise is. Besides having the loudest shoes in my neighborhood, I really like them. Almost as much as my other Ariat Roper work boots, which don't squeak by the way. I have other leather lace up boots that do not make a hint of noise when I walk besides the sole hitting the floor so I know they can make these boots "squeakless."

Very comfortable! Nice looking good for work or leasure. Would recommend to anyone!

Purchased these for my husband. He’s only worn them a few times to (usually if he has an occasional casual day at work). He’s work them no more than a dozen times and today the stitches just blew out on the right boot. Don’t waste your money.

I have a really wide foot and these shoes does not come wide enough. Very pleased with Ariat though and how they handle to return.

I was gifted these over two years ago for my birthday. They didn't take long to wear in and are super comfortable. I am on my feet all day and wear these pretty much every day since I received them. Very little visible wear to them even two years later.

I’m on my feet 8-10 hours a day and I have gotten 6 or more months out of each pair of these before the arches go out. Even when the arches go out the rest of the boot are still in great shape. Have had to replace the laces usually 2-4 months after owning but that’s hardly an issue. The break in period is usually around a week of daily wearing. Will buy again and again.

I bought these 4 yrs ago and they are by far the best... But now they are starting to ware out just a bit not bad for have been worn almost every day for 4 yrs so time for another pair.

Really nice looking boots, very good quality craftsmanship, but the sizing runs a bit smaller. I wear a wide size shoe, and their EE wide is closer to a D size.

They're the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Took awhile to break in but only because the build quality is great so they are stiff out of the box. The shoes can take any insert as well.

Nice looking boot, but abnormally narrow. The left boot seems to be more narrow than the right. I dont have this issue with any other boot or shoe that I own. Would not recommend unless you have a narrow foot.

When I bought this shoe it felt very comfortable. After wearing them for 3 months they are breaking down and the left shoe has a popping sound in it like something is broken they are very uncomfortable and cause foot pane.

I would really like everything about my new boots except they run very narrow. I hope the leather will stretch and these will maybe fit a little less tight.

These are more comfortable than any shoe/boot that ive ever worn, Ariats have always been my top choice for any boot and now for a dress type shoe. Absolutely love these! highly recommend!

Very comfortable boots and well built which is hard for me to find since my feet are narrow. But fit me just right

I've been fly fishing in these for the past 2 years. Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, and Colorado. They have hiked Angels Landing, the Zion Narrows, Bryce Canyon, and Arches. These things have waded through waste deep water and been through numerous backpacking expeditions. I have beat these things up and they are still holding strong! Make it waterproof, add some gore-tex, and add some thinsulate for winter and you would have the perfect boot.

These are light, comfortable and nice looking. Bought them to wear after hours instead of tennis shoes or sandals. After a few hours I did notice my heel slipping up and down. I'll give them a little more time and leave follow up.

Got these about 4 months ago. Broke in quick and fit well. Wear everyday for long hours. Heels are worn down on the inside to the leather and need new insoles. Expected them to be a little more durable.

Bought these a week ago and so far they have been good shoes. They go good with everything so I have been wearing them all day everyday. Bought them for work shoes so we will see how they hold up, pretty good so far! They are broken in now and super comfortable. Ordered them online so didn’t try them on before I bought, just went with my regular size and they fit good

Only had them a month and they are wearing in well. They seem to run extremely narrow as I had to send them back to get the extra wide and they're STILL a little too snug. I do not wear wide sizes in any other brand. They've started to stretch enough that I can get by. They look great and hide scuffs well. They do feel a little heavy on your feet which takes a little getting used to.

Unfortunately these EXTREMELY comfortable boots have a very short life span. 3 months after wearing them for daily casual office wear the inside padding on the heels fell apart to a hard and rough surface. Within 5 months the stitching near the inside arch area started to come apart. I have been wearing different types of Ariat boots over 15 years and these boots did not hold up. Very comfortable but don't last long. Will not be buying these again.

Ive owned a pair of these Lookout boots for 2 weeks now, and have worn them everyday. I expected them to soften with use BUT that just hasn’t happened. I still feel like I’m walking around in swim fins ! The leather is brutally hard when new, something akin to boilerplate, and it’s not getting better. Perhaps IF they had been assembled a bit differently and from a softer leather they would be the answer to a nice everyday casual work-around boot, but so far it’s not happening !

Great fit and true to size. Very comfortable and looks great with jeans or casual wear. The only issue I had was that one of the grommets came apart from the shoe. This happened after only wearing the shoe twice, so disappointing. I ended up needing to take the shoe to a repair shop and have it replaced.

This is a great boot i use for work. All leather and not too heavy boot.

I've owned these boots for a couple of weeks now and love them. They seem to be very well put together and look great with just about anything. I think this is important to mention though. Others have recommended getting them in wide, but I thought, "Meh, I'll just get regulars." I have fairly narrow feet and have never needed wide boots or shoes. After wearing them for a week, thinking they'd 'break in,' I had to admit to myself that they were too narrow. Fortunately the boots were still in perfect condition and I was able to return them for wides. What a huge difference. Now I know what other reviewers are talking about when they say how comfortable these boots are. Bottom line is, order the wides because they fit like regular. The length of these boots I found to be very accurate. I normally wear 10.5 in boots, and the 10.5 is perfect.

Great boot, have had them a year except my shoelace literally ripped in half today. Other than that, totally recommend them.

I liked the look of this shoe and they are very comfortable for all day wear, but the one time I walked through wet grass my socks were very wet within seconds. Not standing water, but wet grass...dew from the night before.

This boot can be worn to work or just about anywhere. Looks great with a pair of jeans.

I've these for over 4 yrs and I love them I wear them all the time I won't ever wear any other shoe! Time to get another pair different color
