As with any new clothing or boots I buy online, I try them on at home first. I needed the Wide Width available with these boots and they felt very comfortable. I hoped they would supplement my usual Caterpillar boots. The second time I wore them I spent about three hours in them. When I took them off the tongue of the boot showed signs of the leather veneer being rubbed and cut open by the normal pressure of the tied boot laces. I won't wear these anymore and apparently, since it shows signs of wear (after 3 hours in the saddle, so to speak), BootBarn will not accept a return of this inferior quality men's work boot.
