Upon the arrival of my Stetson Black Hawk Gambler Hat, I was taken back on how cool this Hat was! The Picture surely does'nt do this hat Justice. The Size was Right On! I wear a size X-Large 7 5/8 and it fit perfectly. Sheplers did an excellent Job with packaging and Shipping! Thanks...

I love the way this hat fits and looks. My granddaughter tried out the crushable aspect and the hat returned to its original shape.

Because of my abused skin (to much Sun), I should always wear a hat, and I have a few. This hat, is as comfortable as any my hats, even those which are more expensive. I do like its flexability.

Bought this hat for one of my groomsmen for my wedding. The quality is superb, it looks great, and it wasn't too expensive. My buddy may never take it off.

This hat has everything. It's light and comfortable to wear in hot or cold weather. It travels well, even in a small case - I crush it sideways so the brim turns up, which makes it look even more stylish. Much admired - what more could you want?

Only worn once but it fits good and seems good quality. Collects lint as normal for black wool. Like it!

I used to have a crushable wool hat that I've misplaced and have been trying to replace it ever since. Usually this style the felt is too stiff, it's not really all that crushable. It's not that I crush the hat a lot, but I want it to be relatively flimsy but stiff enough not to be floppy. This hat is exactly that. I would prefer it had come in a better shipping box (it had come loose internally and fell to the bottom, deforming the brim slightly) and that it had one of those thin wires around the edge of the brim for adjusting the shape a bit. I did end up needing to add a little foam to make it fit right (my head measurement is exactly in the middle of "Large", which is what I ordered), so I think the hat might run a tiny bit larger than it should? I also wish the sweat band were a better design at this price point, it's rather cheaply made and isn't elastic in any way like my other hat was. Still, I'm not sorry I bought it since I've wasted money on other hats not quite as right as this one is overall.

It is diffently a nice stylish hat. Looks good & matches my boots (also from Sheplers). Not an outside summer hat, but inside with the A/C.

This hat is absolutely great,the looks are fantastic.. It is the best looking of all 5 of my hat's Considering it was purchased without actually seeing it,as with other items i have purchased it is just great.. It was a little large,but nothing that a little padding behind the band did not fix.. Have had several good remarks... My suggestion is if u are not sure of your size buy larger..

Just received this hat and am very happy with the purchase! The crown is a bit taller than what it looks like in the picture, but still a gambler. Just FYI it does run a little big so I would consider ordering one size down. I measured just inside the XL bracket but ordered a Large instead. It’s still a little loose, but not to the point where I worry about it falling off. Overall, it’s a nice hat for the price!

Great crushable Stetson hat. True to size and shipped in a timely manner. I upgraded the hat band, but didn’t need to as the band it came with was very nice. These hats are great to travel with as they keep their shape after packing.

I knew I would like this "'Gambler" style of hat because I have one made of straw for summertime wear. I read the reviews for both the Stetson and the Little Joe and decided on the Stetson as it is made in the USA. I figured it is worth the extra money for something that with care, will last many years. I regularly recieve compliments on this hat. I'm told I look like Clint Eastwood in "High Plains Drifter", and also Stevie Ray Vaughan. Being a SRV fan was another reason to choose this hat. Once Stevie hit the big time, he almost always wore a black Gambler, with different hatbands. I did order a size L and accidentally recieved a XL. Sheplers did send a Call Tag for free return shipping, but it fit my son and he liked it, and so ended up keeping it. I reordered a Large for myself. Sheplers does want you to be satisfied.

Very pleased with this crushable Gambler Hat. The fit on the medium was perfect according to the sizing guide. Keeps its shape nicely, and is a handsome hat. Warm in winter too. Happy with the purchase.

This is a terrific hat. Good buy. But it didn't look good on me. I am a small person and don't look good in a hat with a broad brim. I would like this very hat with a narrower brim.

The Stetson Black Hawk Crushable Wool Gambler Hat is exactly what I was looking for. I get a lot of complements on it. Excellent quality, looks great and fits perfectly. I would not change one thing about this hat. I am very pleased with it but then it is a Stetson,what more can I say?

He Loves the hat, it rides in the saddle bag of his Gold-wing Trike when it comes out of the saddle bag it looks as great as when it went in. He's gotten many comments on the hat from Austria to Italy and Germany. Great product and we will be return customers, thank you

Other reviews mentioned that it might run a bit large, and since it's not specifically sized by number, that is the case with me. However I use a bit of the foam strip that shipped with it under the hatband and it fits perfectly. It's definitely crushable; the dog hopped into the truck seat and right down on it of course. The hat popped right back into shape instantly and retained it's good looks. I've gotten a few compliments on it. I'm very pleased with the product and definitely recommend it. Super deal on a super Stetson!

I love this hat!!! I needed a hood winter hat that was good in the rain. This hat fills the bill and I feel so proud when wearing it. I couldn't be happier!

The hat looked very good but it fit big not sure what happened.it says its a medium ?
