Thick high quality leather. I can carry my full size 1911 45 and it doesn't pull down and stays in place.

Updated Review - my initial thought was that this belt is lighter duty than I’d hoped for. After exchanging for the correct size and wearing it for a couple days, I will attest that it is heavy enough to be a proper CC belt. It has screws to hold the buckle rather than snaps, should easily hold the wearers weight if it ever came to that. But it does run small, I would order +2” on pant size just to wear it, and +2” more if you want to use it for IWB CC. A good belt, should last a long time.
