These are my second pair of snake boots that I have had so far. The first pair I had was a pair of Rocky's that lasted me 10 years... These boots appear to be higher quality made from thick oiled leather and snake proof Cordura.. I got the boots because They have NO ZIPPER that can break.
they are purely slip on boots which is nice because my last pair I never tied the laces most of the time.
These boots are very comfortable, and I have tried different sizes before getting the pair which is my usual size...
One thing that I noticed is that these boots have a little bit of heel slip which is pretty normal for boots without laces, however I'm not really used to that yet. also the leather is so thick that the buckle for the instep is hard to adjust.. over time I think that the leather will loosen up and I will be able to adjust them better.
I gave these boots 3 out of 5 because of the heel slip that I am not used to and I have not properly broken them in to give them a Higher rating... I'm sure once I have them broken in (which is supposed to minimize heel slip) that they will be a 5 out of 5 pair of boots.
