Wrong Color

I just purchased these boots and they fit true to size, but they don't look like this. The leather on the boot is much darker, they must have done something to this picture to make them look good like this because mine don't. This picture is very deceiving. If anyone has any ideas on how to brighten up the leather on these boots to look like this please reply

Beautiful Boot!

Purchased this boot online after seeing photos and reviews on this site. Boots arrived next after shipping and are they beautiful! Exactly as depicted in the HD photos on the CO website. Problem was a bit tight fitting across the instep; I hadn't tried any similar styles on at local stores to know, so it's my fault. Boot shaft is stiff, o/w I'd give 5 stars. Can't be more satisfied with CO, so I ordered a different style today!

Boots Run Wide!

These boots run wide.. I lost weight and just got back down to a “D” width. I bought 11.5 D and the toe length is right but the heal width is very wide more like an “EE”. I have to wear two pair of socks so my feet stay put. I’m not a small person at 6’1” 195 Lbs. so be warned on the width.
The top part of the soul were the stitching is is very bright orange/peach color, not at all like the picture here or on Ariant’s site.. I’ll have to use some stain so it’s not such a contrast or take the batteries out..
Over all the boots are well made!

Hesitant to buy the wide square toed look!

I have always been a u-toe or a j-toe boot buyer and I have mostly bought Tony Lama's, Justin's and Lucchese's. I am 56 years old and have been wearing cowboy boots since I was 5.
I sell electric to farmers all around south central PA for UEA and I needed a rubber soled boot to prevent wicking from occuring when standing in barnyards talking to dairy farmers.
So I went to a grain elevator/Western wear store in LeMasters, PA and all they had were Ariat boots. So I bought this pair and a u-toed pair.
These wide square toed boots are by far the most comfortable boots I have ever worn and I now love the looks of them.
I wore them to church at GBC in Gettysburg and got many compliments. (we have a lot of boot people there!:-))
