Lucchese Boot Company continues a long heritage of American leather craftsmanship. The founder, Sam Lucchese, lived the American dream. In 1883, the Lucchese family emigrated from Sicily, and they brought the old world art of bootmaking to San Antonio, Texas. The Luccheses’ craftsmanship became so renowned that they quickly established themselves as they main purveyor of cavalry boots for the United States Army outpost in Houston. Their footwear was not only durable enough for hardworking cavalrymen, it also showed the hallmarks of excellent craftsmanship and classic design.

Even today Lucchese makes boots in the USA, and artisans in their El Paso factory build handcrafted boots of unparalleled quality, comfort and fit. The human hand touches each boot over three hundred times during the course of construction. To this day Lucchese continues its tradition of innovation and style, since 1883.
