One of our favorite bloggers, Alison Chino, wrote a post for us all about her new boots. We love her pictures!

This spring I  got to pick out a pair of women’s cowboy boots from Country Outfitter. I asked my fashion guru and friend Whitney for a little help.

This is the pair she chose for me.  They are Ariat Legends.  I love them a lot.

In fact, I had so much fun wearing my boots all day at Moss Mountain Farm that I wore them almost every day for weeks afterwards.

They were comfortable from the get go.  No break-in needed.  I’ve always thought of cowboy boots as really stiff and uncomfortable, but I’m totally converted to these.

They are cute with almost anything.

Since I was enjoying my boots so much, I decided to ask my photographer Whitney if she was up for a fun Boot Shoot!

She was totally game so she came over and picked out several outfits for me to wear with my new boots.  Then she found some fun locations and took lots of photos.

First, I wore a flowing white top with skinny jeans.

Boots are great for tromping through fields of sunflowers!

Next, I paired the boots with wide belted short dress.

I wore this over Memorial Day weekend to the farm of some friends from church.  I think it was kind of a lucky outfit, because I actually caught a fish.  That almost never happens.

After a while, we even got my daughter, Mary Polly, in on the photos!  She has stolen these boots from me on several occasions!

Her dress really brings out the turquoise stitching on these boots!

One of my favorite looks is this long dress with boots.  I’ve worn this outfit more times than I can count this summer.  It’s so comfortable!

In fact, since I have gotten these boots I have been asking people who are wearing cowboy boots whether or not they like them and what kind they are.

A friend of mine who is a teacher told me that she can wear her Ariat boots all day to teach in because they are so comfortable.

Another friend of ours who was wearing his Ariat boots at a wedding we were attending told me that the only time he takes his boots off is to go to the gym.  (I assume he doesn’t sleep in them.)  This was before I had gone to Bean2Blog and gotten my boots, so I was even more excited to try mine on.
